Two Worlds. One Vision.
At just 31 years old, Tobias Nubbemeyer has already built a career most coaches spend a lifetime chasing. In his very first year as U19 head coach at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, he achieved something that had never been done before in German youth soccer — winning both the German U19 Championship and the DFB-Pokal in the same season.
But before Hoffenheim, Tobias spent four years in the United States. As U17 Head Coach at Philadelphia Union, he led the team to win the U17 MLS NEXT Cup in 2022 and the Generation adidas Cup championship in 2023 — building a coaching philosophy shaped by two very different soccer cultures.
